Why lease from Plex Property Management?

How do I submit a maintenance request?

Through our convenient maintenance portal. The easiest way to get there is on our mobile friendly portal where you login to pay rent each month.

What counts as an emergency maintenance issue?

Emergency issues are dangerous, hazardous, or could damage the property or your safety without immediate attention, such as:

  • No water or power

  • Flooding or a broken pipe

  • No heat when outside temperature is below 50°F

Do I have to be home for a maintenance visit?

Yes, someone over 18 must be present for the entire duration of the appointment.

Why do I need to change my air filter?

Changing your air filter every three months removes harmful toxins and can lower your energy bill by up to 15%.

Why is air filter delivery required in my lease?

Regular HVAC filter replacement is crucial to keep the system functioning properly. Our partnership with Second Nature ensures protection for both you and your home.

What are my renters insurance coverage requirements?

You must carry an active personal liability policy with:

  • Minimum $100,000 liability coverage

  • $100,000 dog bite liability coverage (if applicable)

Insurance must be from a carrier with an AM Best rating of A-VII or better. Liability insurance does not cover personal items, so we strongly recommend coverage for your belongings.

If your carrier excludes any dog, obtain a stand-alone dog bite liability policy with at least $10,000 coverage for each excluded dog.

Can I combine two $50,000 policies to meet the $100,000 limit?

No. Your home must have at least one renters policy with a minimum of $100,000 coverage.

Do you allow pets?

Yes! We love pets, and your pets will enjoy your new home, yard, and neighborhood. All pets are subject to approval.
